True to its title, the exhibition “Abstract Resistance” considers the metaphor of “resistance” as a complex political and compositional force defining art of the past half century.
Abstract Resistance (an exhibition held at the Walker Art Centre, Minneapolis, in 2010) proposes an alternative framework for aesthetically inventive, ethically engaged, and politically defiant art.
